Vista fixtures

I was asked to look at 6month old system appprox 25 fixtures. All fixtures are vista products. The system had 13 bad MR16's. I found no voltage supply problems. Several of the fixtures had moisture and dirt inside. One fixture had a cracked lens from a unknown cause. I replaced all the lamps with sealed units, but I am still a little worried. Any thoughts??

If there were no overvoltage problems it could be that the controller and/or photocontrol may be keeping the lights on longer than necessary. Six months is about 1,000 hours of dusk to midnight operation and one would anticipate at most one or two lamp failures during that period. Of course, they could have been "no name" bargain (!) MR-16s.
